Maybe you should change the title of your post to “Sit down, Boy!”
That’s what you meant right?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/06/AR2008100602935.html
No, that’s not what I meant. If you think I’m a McCain/Palin supporter you’re sadly mistaken, and if you think I condone or accept the sort of BS reported in the Washington Post article you linked to, you’re even more mistaken. There isn’t any acceptable excuse for that, period.
This particular tweet was in reference to Obama’s attempt to go beyond the time limits prescribed for the debate, and he was hardly alone in doing so … and McCain violated the time constraints just as egregiously as Obama.
Wow Krystal! You seem a little to eager to throw around the racism card for people who pointed out something as simple as keeping the rules to the debate. You might as well call Brokaw a racist as well. Knowing Jeremy like I do, there was no hint of racism in his comment. I think your reference to this article in WP shows your disdain for real issues and “hopes” that someone can “talk” us out of real situations that require “action.”
Well, to be fair, if somebody stumbled upon this Twitter post via a Google search or the like they’d not get the context … to really get it somebody would probably had to be following my Twitter feed while watching the debate. It’s hard to give any sort of context in the 140 characters you are limited to on Twitter.
But, if anybody wants to try, they can search for my commentary on Palin, McCain, Biden … and heck … even Bob Barr, the guy running for president for the party I’m a member of. I’m dishing it out to all of ‘em.
I didn’t see the debate but I have seen Brokaw lead before. He is a no nonsense moderator. I can see him put the smack down on just about anybody who tries to break the rules. I’m glad to see you finally got accused of racism. Don’t you feel better?
On an aside, please tell Munger, the libretarian candidate for gov here, don’t support putting gps systems on our cars to figure road taxes. That is annoying.
