This is the Olin T. Binkley Chapel on the seminary campus. It’s named after the second president of the school. Construction began on it before WWII when Wake Forest College still occupied the campus, but the war interrupted the construction. The seminary finished the chapel in the late fifties. The college seal is still visible on the front of the building (though not in this shot).

This is Wake Forest Baptist Church’s building, also on the seminary campus.

This building originally belonged to the Youngsville Methodist Church, which existed from 1878 to 1929 (assuming that’s what the dates on the stained glass above the door mean). It sat unoccupied for a long time (as far as I could tell) when I was growing up, but it’s now used by “The Church of the Living God.”

I love that first shot. really nice.
Yeah, there’s something about the angle of the shot, combined with the fact that the trees and shadows are almost completely black that gives it a nice, almost surreal feel. Definitely one of my favorite shots so far.
