By popular demand … here are some photos of our house! Now that Spring is here, I’ll have to go out and get some of the town and the surrounding area. The flowers are starting to bloom, we’ve had a few warm (mid-seventies), clear days, and I’ve even worked outside on the back porch a few times. And then there was last weekend … it snowed (well, it was a rain/snow mix) pretty much all day Saturday. Very odd. But, I love cold, rainy weather, and I love the snow (yes, I’m odd), so it actually made my day.
I do think that it’s too bad that I missed getting photos of snow-covered mountains and all that … but we got cheated out of a good winter here. Hey, that’s what I wanted to live out here in western North Carolina anyway!
Ooh … perhaps I should use this space to also mention that UNC (Chapel Hill, of course) won the NCAA tournament! Go Heels! I am, however, still disappointed in the way they treated Matt Dougherty. I generally feel like he got the shaft on account of a bunch of whining, sniveling players who didn’t want to work hard … but that’s just my opinion. However, Roy Williams seems to be a decent coach, so I have no reason to complain about him.
Updated: Now I’m just using Qdig as a standalong gallery. This plugin thing is way too much of a pain …
